Since Gamma Knife treatment involves radiation, the positive effects of treatment do not occur immediately. Results may be seen as early as three months after treatment. In order to monitor the status of lesions and abnormalities, you will receive routine after-treatment follow-up, including imaging procedures and examinations by a neurosurgeon.
